1. Eligibility

Participants must be 18 years or older and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Employees of Nuvento and its affiliates may participate for non-prize purposes only, unless otherwise stated.

2. Registration

All participants must register with accurate, complete information. Nuvento reserves the right to disqualify any participant who provides false information or violates the terms.

3. Team Participation

Participants may compete individually or in teams (up to 4 members per team). Each member must register and agree to these terms.

4. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to maintain professionalism and ethical behavior throughout the Hackathon. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate disqualification.

5. Submission Guidelines

All work must be submitted by the deadline specified.

Submissions must be original and created during the Hackathon period.

Participants must not use pre-existing proprietary code unless explicitly permitted and properly licensed.

6. Judging and Prizes

Submissions will be judged based on innovation, usability, relevance to the theme (“Agentic AI for Productivity”), and technical execution.

Prizes are awarded at Nuvento’s discretion and are non-transferable.

7. Ownership and Intellectual Property

Participants retain ownership of the original ideas, code, and assets they develop during the Hackathon.

However, by submitting your work to the Hackathon, you grant Nuvento Systems a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and commercialize the submission or any part of it for internal or external business purposes.

8. Patent and Copyright

If any aspect of the submitted work is identified by Nuvento as being commercially viable (e.g., usable in a chatbot, software, or enterprise AI product), Nuvento reserves the right to further develop, patent, or adapt the solution.

In such cases, participants may be acknowledged or offered collaboration opportunities, but Nuvento is under no obligation to compensate unless agreed upon in a separate written agreement.

9. Confidentiality

Participants must not disclose any confidential or proprietary information shared by Nuvento or other participants during the Hackathon.

10. Limitation of Liability

Nuvento is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from participation in the Hackathon. Participants accept responsibility for all risks involved.

11. Disqualification

Nuvento reserves the right to disqualify any participant for breach of these terms or for conduct that may harm the reputation or operations of the company.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State Kerala, without regard to conflict of law principles.
